Bad power supply boards or worn-out wires are major issues for the defective power supply.

If you face a problem, check if the power supply is connected to the power strip; if connected, ensure it is connected well.

Sometimes, the electric hardware is connected to a single power strip, it can lead to an electromagnetic issue that leads to a light blinking issue.

If you find any electric hardware connected to a single strip, remove all hardware connected to the single strip.

You should also check all cables connected to the power supply and check for faulty or cracked cables.

If your monitor is not connected well to the power supply, then there may be a lot of chances it can cause it to go into the power save mode.

Firstly, ensure that the monitor is connected properly to the power source.

Sometimes, clicking on the keyboard and mouse awakes the monitor from power save mode.

Capacitors can be blown by overheating of the monitor. When the vents are blocked, heat can not escape, so heat blows up the inside capacitors.

If the inside capacitors are faulty, the monitor can not run properly, and faulty capacitors can also produce flickering on display.
