A faulty or damaged HDMI cable can make your monitor not wake up from sleep. You should check the HDMI cable for cracks or damage. 

If you did not find any damage or crack, check the cable with another monitor; if it does not work properly with another monitor properly, you should need to replace it with a new one.

After replacing the cable, turn on the monitor if it works.

Updating the drives can solve the monitor sleep problem. Drives able communication between your computer and monitor.

If the drives are out of date, they are not able to communicate properly, and it can cause issues when you’re operating the monitor.

To solve the problem, you should clean the RAM with a soft cloth or with a brush carefully.

If you find any damage on RAM, you should check the RAM with another monitor if it’s not working well.
