Beginner mode in Roblox Chapter 2: Tunnel keeps things straightforward, but don’t mistake that for easy. It shares several puzzle mechanics with normal mode—rewiring, pipe placement, maze navigation, and more—but the solutions are simplified. It’s a step up from Chapter 1’s intro puzzles, yet still manageable. If you get stuck, here’s how to get through it.
Roblox Terminal Chapter 2: Tunnel – Beginner Mode Walkthrough
Keypad Puzzle – Powering the Door
The first puzzle is multi-step. Before entering the keypad code, you’ll need to restore power to the door.
Here’s the full checklist:
-
Find the scissors and screwdriver near the next door.
-
Use the screwdriver to open the train’s electric box.
-
Cut each wire.
-
Reattach the wires in the correct color sequence.
-
Decode the keypad.
The correct rewiring order is:
-
Brown
-
Pink
-
Yellow
-
Orange
-
Red
-
Blue
-
Purple
-
Black
-
White
-
Green
Once you’ve got power restored, look at the billboards nearby. They each show a letter and a number. Spell out C-O-D-E and use the associated numbers:
-
Code: 1379
Office Puzzle – Four Mini Challenges
This room contains four mini-puzzles, each tied to a keypad code. All four must be completed to progress.
Pipe Puzzle
You’ll need to find four pipe pieces first:
-
On the desk
-
Near the coffee maker
-
On the bookshelf
-
On the floor under the carpet
Once picked up, the pieces auto-place into the wall. Interact with them and rotate each until the matching colors connect end-to-end.
-
Code: 6914
Painting Puzzle
This one gives you four riddles tied to paintings in the room. Match each answer to the correct painting and you’ll get a digit for each.
-
Turtle → 3
-
Train → 2
-
Coin → 8
-
Pumpkins → 4
-
Code: 3284
Plant Puzzle
There are four numbered plants scattered around the room. Most are near the bookcase; one’s by the coffee maker. Find all four numbers and arrange them from smallest to largest.
-
Code: 2689
Ceiling Puzzle
A note in the room just says “Look up.” Do so and you’ll see four lit ceiling tiles, each with a number. Near the office entrance, a fifth tile tells you to read the pattern from top to bottom.
Stand with your back to the door and read downward.
-
Code: 7831
Input the final code and jump into the maze below. Press the four buttons in the maze and make your way to the exit.
TV Room Puzzle – Fruit and Cipher Codes
Inside the TV Room, you’ll see monitors flashing colors and a remote control locked behind glass. Some TVs display fruits linked to numbers. The trick? Count the letters in each fruit’s name:
-
Apple → 5
-
Pear → 4
-
Pineapple → 9
-
Banana → 6
-
Code for safe: 5496
Use the code to get the remote. Pause the screen by the door to move on. The color order you pause on determines your next code—so this part will vary from player to player.
Shape Cipher + Poster Code
In the next area, there are two keypads:
-
The first keypad is paired with symbols. You’ll need to find shape-number matches scattered on the floor and walls to decode the sequence.
-
Example code (shape-based): 4931
-
-
The second keypad uses a poster-based cipher. Move the curtains to uncover four pages. Only four are needed, even though there are five poster slots.
-
Code: 8246
-
Enter the final code into the elevator panel to complete the chapter.
Following the first Chapter, Chapter 2 keeps the puzzles coming without overwhelming the player. Whether you’re here for Santa or Krampus, you’ll need your head on straight to make it out of the tunnel.
