Jennifer Aniston Details An Issue She’s Faced For the Past Decade: ‘I Really Want To Love It and I’m Sure It Wants To Love Me’

Jennifer Aniston has always preached about how much she loves her body, and how aging isn’t really how it everyone makes it seem. She’s lead a pretty healthy lifestyle and hasn’t had to deal with too many health issues, aside from one that’s been plaguing her for the past 10 to 15 years, and she’s finally opened up about it. Though, the issue she’s faced might not be exactly what you’re expecting.

In an interview with Allure on January 2nd, Jennifer Aniston opened up about all kinds of things, but more specifically her views on aging and how she keeps her body in shape. Throughout the interview, she explains that she works out pretty regularly, and she has an amazing relationship with her body in general. She said, “Well, we really love each other.” Though, it’s not her body that gives her issues, necessarily; not in that sense.

When asked if she slept well, Aniston responded, “Sleep and I have a real hard relationship. I really want to love it and I am sure it wants to love me, but we have had a hard time, especially in the last 10, 15 years.” It seems even though she would love nothing more than a peaceful night’s sleep, she just can’t “shut the brain down,” and it becomes quite difficult for her to fall asleep. It seems it has more to do with what’s going on in the world and what kind of information that she’s taking in, than anything else, as she claims she had to “shut the news off,” and said “I’ve had to give myself boundaries with information.”

Jennifer then goes on to explain that “out bodies, our brains are not designed to take in this much information.” She says that we were limited in the past, having only television and a radio, but now the news is taking over in many more ways and are new platforms, which are affecting our cortisol levels and keeping loads of people from sleeping.
