Finding your Crit Chance in Path of Exile 2 can be a bit more obtuse than you might think.
The main reason for this is that it’s not on your character’s stats sheet. Instead, it’s actually shown individually under the advanced stats for each Skill. It’s a bit more hidden than you would first assume, right?
In this quick guide, we’ll tell you how to check out the Crit Chance of any of your Skills whenever you want.
How To Check Crit Chance | Path Of Exile 2
As we mentioned before Crit Chance in Path of Exile 2 is separate for each Skill. So, to check it, you must first open up your Skills menu. You can open it by pressing the G key if playing with keyboard and mouse on PC.
For controllers, press and hold the equivalent of Select, such as the View Button (Xbox) or the Touchpad (PlayStation DualSense). Then select Skills from the Radial Menu.
In the Skills interface, find the Skill you want to check and then click on the arrow next to “DPS” or “DMG” on PC.
If you’re using a controller, select the Skill you wish to check with A (Xbox) or X (PlayStation) and then select Advanced Info.
This will display all of the advanced stats related to that specific Skill. Your total Crit Chance will be displayed under the Critical Hits category.
If the Crit Chance number seems low, keep in mind that most (if not all) Crit Chance Passive Skills are multiplicative and not additive. For example, say that you have a Skill with an innate 10% Crit Chance. Getting a Passive Skill that gives you a +10% Crit Chance will raise the total Crit Chance to 11%, not 20%.
We know that might disappoint some people, but that’s just how the game is set up right now.
