Harumasa’s Best Electric Build for Zenless Zone Zero (W-Engines, Teams, Rotation, and Discs)

Asaba Harumasa is a member of Hollow Special Operations Section 6, which players will get for free in Zenless Zone Zero version 1.4. He is a hybrid melee and ranged attacker with an Electric element. Despite his cheerful attitude, this young man hides a dark secret due to his horrific past. While Harumasa is not the strongest character in the game, he can still inflict significant damage if you use the right build.

The best W-Engines for this Harumasa Electric build in Zenless Zone Zero is his signature weapon, Zanshin Herb Case. However, there are other viable weapons that you can use for him if you don’t want to pull on the weapon banner.

W-EngineDetailZanshin Herb CaseBesides boosting his CRIT DMG, this weapon will also increase Harumasa’s CRIT Rate and Dash Attack Electric DMG. This gear is especially good if you have an Anomaly and Stun unit in the team, so you can get an extra CRIT Rate buff. The BrimstoneThe Brimstone is actually Soldier 11‘s signature weapon. This gear can boost the user’s ATK. You will also get an extra ATK buff whenever you use Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter. It’s a good weapon option if you don’t want to care about maximizing Harumasa’s damage.Cannon RotorCannon Rotor is an A-rank weapon that can increase the user’s CRIT Rate and ATK. If you can land a critical hit on an enemy, you will inflict an extra 200 percent of ATK as DMG on the target. This is the best F2P option if you don’t have the S-rank weapons.

Best Discs

Since Harumasa is an Electric unit, the Thunder Metal is the best Disc set for him. However, there are two more sets that you may also use.

DiscDetailThunder MetalThis is the best Disc set for Harumasa since it increases his Electric damage. It will also boost his ATK when the target is inflicted with Shock. So you definitely want to run the 4-piece set if you use him on an Electric team.Woodpecker ElectroThis Disc set is a common pic for DPS since it can boost CRIT Rate. I recommend running this with Thunder Metal by adding a 2-piece set. You can also run a 4-piece set, but I prefer Thunder Metal more.Hormone PunkHormone Punk is another viable Disc set for Harumasa. This one will boost his ATK, but this set is meant for a quick swap team. If you like to switch between characters, you can give this set to him to get the ATK buff.

Here are the stats you want to have on your Drive Disc set:

Main Stat:

4: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG

5: Electric DMG

6: ATK

Best Harumasa Team Comps in Zenless Zone Zero

You definitely want to run an Electric team when using Harumasa in Zenless Zone Zero. Luckily, many good Electric units have already been released in the game. Here are my recommendations:

For the F2P Harumasa team, you can turn to our trusty Anby and Nicole combo. You will activate their team buff since they’re from the same faction. With two Electric units on the team, Harumasa will also activate his own team buff.

For the Premium team, you’ll be running Qingyi and Rina with Harumasa. Qingyi is an excellent Electric Stun unit, while Rina is a fantastic Support character. This team is especially good if you have Zanshin Herb Case as his weapon.

If you want to ditch using a Stun unit and go full Anomaly, you can replace Qingyi with Grace. This team is great if you want to constantly inflict Shock on your enemies. Plugboo is the best Bangboo support, but you can also use Electroboo.
