Beyoncé Shares An Exciting Announcement For The Future But Critics Are Furious: ‘Last Concert Before She’s Locked Away For Life’

Under normal circumstances, Beyoncé‘s announcement would be considered exciting: she is going to perform during Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday in Houston on Dec. 25. Seeing the “TEXAS HOLD’EM” singer belt out her tunes sounds like something many people would want to tune in and see. Still, she was met with swift backlash when she posted a clip for the upcoming event on Instagram.

The problem is the timing, and the news comes hot on the heels of the accusation that her husband, Jay Z, allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000. Jay Z has refuted the claims, publicly stating his innocence and denouncing attorney Tony Buzbee for contacting his lawyer with a “blackmail attempt.”

In a statement to NPR, he also referred to the lawsuit as being in the “pursuit of money and fame.” He continued, “This incident didn’t happen and yet he filed it in court and doubled down in the press. True Justice is coming. We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory. This was over before it began. This 1-800 lawyer doesn’t realize it yet, but, soon.”

It is important to remember that justice needs to take its course. However, many people have been quick to share their feelings on social media, including on Bey’s latest Instagram post. The post is a short video showing the singer dressed all in white, including a Stetson and oversized coat. She can be seen pinning a Christmas ornament onto a cactus and smiling into the camera. A message then comes onto the screen promoting the Halftime Show.

Beyoncé shared her thoughts in the caption, writing, “A Cowboy Carter Christmas. HOUSTON, TEXAS 12.25.” She is clearly excited about the upcoming event but was likely not anticipating the backlash she would receive.

Comments on the post include, “She basically said THE SHOW MUST GO ON WITH or WITHOUT JAY,” “Whoever supports this women. Supports her husband,” and “Last concert before she’s locked away for life.” Critics have also commented on how “The masks are finally falling,” and it is time that people believe victims.

The accuser in this lawsuit against Jay Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs has made a statement to NBC News about how she allegedly “made some mistakes” in her retelling of the alleged crime, which occurred 24 years ago.

Addressing the inconsistencies, Mr. Buzbee told the news outlet they were vetting her claims. But noted the immense stress that coming forward had caused her. “Our client remains fiercely adamant that what she has stated is true, to the best of her memory. We will continue to vet her claims and collect corroborating data to the extent it exists,” he said.

What does Beyoncé have to do with all of this? Many people think that her decision to continue with a “show must go on” attitude is inconsiderate! There have been threats from fans in the comments on her post stating they will turn off their televisions.
