Since his reign as the 42nd president of the United States, the 78-year-old has endured several health crises including a quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2004 and a partially collapsed lung a year later. The latest update on Bill’s health following his Monday scare suggests the former president is in no immediate danger.
The one-time POTUS was admitted to a hospital in Washington on Monday afternoon after coming down with a fever. In an update following his hospitalization, Bill Clinton’s spokesperson Angel Urena revealed to news outlets that “the president is fine,” and in good spirits. The rep also disclosed that the 78-year-old appreciated the care and concern he received in the wake of his health scare. However, to better aid his recovery and affirm his heath, Bill Clinton was expected to remain hospitalized, undergoing “testing and observation” for at least a night at the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. They however clarified that his condition was “not urgent or dire by any means.”
