Melissa Gorga Hints That Teresa Giudice Wouldn’t Be Relevant on Real Housewives of New Jersey Without Her

Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice are still at each other’s throats, and Bravo fans are living for it. In case you missed it, Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s MelGo recently announced an interesting business. On Instagram, the mother of three told her followers she was starting a sprinkle cookie business. The shop is called Sprinkle by MG, and it’s especially interesting because of the storyline from Season 3.

For those who need a refresher, Teresa and Mel got into it during an earlier episode over sprinkle cookies. “She came to my house Christmas day, she brought me sprinkle cookies,” Teresa said in a confessional. “I said to her, ‘Melissa, nobody touched the cookies you brought. I threw them in the garbage. You know what my favorite cookies are? Pignoli cookies.’ That’s what I said.”

So, after Melissa shared her new business venture online, Teresa responded only moments later. “You’re welcome,” she wrote X, which many fans assumed was about her sister-in-law. However, Melissa doesn’t feel indebted to her. In fact, she thinks it should be the other way around. So, what did she have to say?

Melissa Gorga Tells Teresa Giudice She’s ‘Welcome’ for Making Her Relevant

On Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Melissa finally addressed Teresa’s (potential) comments about her sprinkle cookies. “Well, she’s welcome for giving her someone to hate on for the last decade,” she said. “So, she’s welcome.”

On Instagram, Melissa spoke about her new business, saying it’s been a “passion” of hers. She told Andy that “timing is everything” before revealing “everything happens for a reason.”

Online, fans responded to Melissa’s comments and blasted her for seeking “attention.”

“So, she was doing this as a pitch for a storyline to keep relevant in hopes she will be asked back?” someone wrote. “She’s so desperate to be called back that she will do anything,” another added. A third fan also commented, pointing out that Melissa’s cookies aren’t homemade. “… these new batch of sprinkle cookies are from a wholesaler. So she basically designed a box,” they quipped.

Teresa and Melissa’s back-and-forth feud is one reason the Real Housewives of New Jersey is being completely revamped. After years of explosive arguments, the fighting became too toxic for the network, ultimately causing Andy Cohen to shut down camp before the show’s upcoming 15th season.

Since being on pause, many fans have shared their feelings about who should return and who shouldn’t. However, Teresa seems to feel confident in her position. “I would never step away. I started the show,” she said in 2022. “I’m never going to give that to anyone because I’m the one that started the show.”

“It’s so crazy to me how people are trying to plant the seed that Teresa wants to leave the show … the games that people play. No. I started this,”

Recently, Andy told Us Weekly that production on the show is still at a stand-still and that fans likely wouldn’t get news of the show until 2026. “You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking,” he said. “And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking.”
